MSHA Part 48 Training
Part 48 New Miner Training requires a total of 24 hours of training by a certified MSHA training instructor, in addition to any site-specific hazard training.
Part 48 certification must be renewed every year with an 8-hour Annual Refresher training by a certified MSHA training instructor, in addition to any site-specific hazard training. The training does not expire after exactly 365 days. You are compliant until the end of the calendar month one year after your last Annual Refresher training.
You will receive an MSHA 5000-23 certificate at the successful completion of your training class with Kim Redding.
